This is to go with my last post about the "dead" look, it's me about a year a go. If I was wearing a mini dress completley covered in sequins, beads, and lace and my hair was curled, fanned out around me, I think it could work. I can see it.
Ha! I just was looking through my pictures and found this. I was doing the Paul Mitchell Fashion Show, representing "earth". I look so weird. But, I find it incredibly funny so I decided to post it. I think they had a good direction though, mohawks are really eye catching on the runway. I don't know though, I think a fashion show where all the models had uniform white blonde mohawks and bright red lipstick to model an all black or all white line would be sweet. The models might hate it, but it would definitly get the designer some press.
In other news, I think I have to go to New York over spring break now because my mother doesn't want to walk around in the cold. Of course, this sucks to the extreme because winter fashion is absoloutly to die for in New York right now. It would help so much if I was older.
I can't stop listening to third eye blind. I'm like obsessed.

Cute picture and hair! I agree, the mohawks and bright red lipstick would get them major press, since no one has it done it before! Aw, I'm sorry to hear that about NYC. I fell in love with winter fashion in NYC when I was there. But I'm sure spring fashion is just as amazing and colorful! Because when I was in NYC, everyone looked like they were attending a funeral but it looked incredible! I wish I was going for spring break but I'll be there in April!
P.S. Is Third Eye Blind a rock band?
Yes, Oscar is by far my favorite American designer. His stuff is almost haute couture but it's wearable for special events. Why thank you, that's really touching. I try to inspire and help others because I know how it is, I've been through it. Let me tell you, there's tons of nice people in the industry that are willing to help you if you're willing to give your all. That's how I gained so much knowledge by just volunteering at fashion shows, and they noticed my hard work. I would always get calls asking if I can work for them. Fashion Merchandising is a great major, you can do tons of different things with that behind you. I know if your wanting to become an editor, you must take English instead of Journalism. That's what I was told at the Teen Vogue event I attended, it looks better on your resume. I know Express hires sales associates whose been there for a long time to become a buyer for the corporate. I think it's very fascinating that your so young and already planning your future. That's great because you can start early and make good decisions.
